All is ready for the third BRITE Concertation Board Meeting that will be held in Rome at the premises of Unioncamere, the National Association of Italian Chambers of Commerce, on 17 April 2008. About 100 delegates from business registers and public administrations around the world, and from BRITE are expected to attend to discuss topics related to business register interoperability and opportunities of cooperation opened by the BRITE Project.
BRITE has been presented at the eGovernment Interoperability conference on October10th in Paris to an audience of more than 20 member state representatives within the “Semantic Interoperability” thematic section.
The subject: "Process ontologies for the interoperability of business registers across Europe" has attracted the interest of experts on eProcurement and semantic interoperability.

The Internal Call to become a member of the project is now open. Application forms and background material can be found in the area reserved for Concertation Board members.

7 December 2006 – One of Adobe UK's clients, Companies House (UK Business Register) received one of Europe's most prestigious awards for the application of Adobe’s technology to build their XBRL-based eAccounts Service.
The award was part of the British Computer Society’s Information Management scheme.
This service enables commercial organisations to submit dormant company accounts electronically and the solution combines both Adobe Acrobat Professional and Adobe LiveCycle.
